The 2015 conference was the sixth annual WISERD conference, and followed on from five successful conferences, held in the Universities of Cardiff, Swansea, Bangor, South Wales and Aberystwyth. Bringing practitioners, policy makers and social scientists together, WISERD conferences are established as one of the most important events in the social science calendar.
Understanding Society and the Wales Institute of Social & Economic Research, Data & Methods (WISERD), University of Cardiff, are running two training events designed to develop your knowledge and skills in using large scale longitudinal studies.
Research on poverty, inequality and big data will be presented by academics from Cardiff University’s School of Social Sciences. Lead by our panel discussants the session will then open up debate with participants to further explore these topics.
This event will bring together leading academics from the UK and US to discuss the current state of play regarding data linkage and the likely future direction of developments in this area
