Aberystwyth Seminar Series

A series of seminars has been organised at Aberystwyth University between 10th February and 24th March 2011. The seminars will be held fortnightly at 4.00pm in B22 Llandinam Building (Geography Tower). A list of seminar topics and speakers can be found below.

• 10th February 2011 – ‘The armchair explorer: Slavery, empire and African cartography’ (Dr David Lambert, Royal Holloway)
• 24th February 2011 – ‘Negotiating neoliberalism through stakeholder engagements with ecosystem service governance in Wales’ (Dr Sophie Wynne-Jones, Aberystwyth University)
• 10th March 2011 – ‘Rhythm, communications and cultures of mobility’ (Dr George Revill, Open University)
• 24th March 2011 – ‘Spaces and sites of comic books’ (Dr Jason Dittmer, University College London)
