Policy Briefings
As part of the WISERD Knowing Localities programme, WISERD researchers have developed policy briefing documents across the following key themes:
- Health, Wellbeing and Social Care
- Education and Young People
- Language, Citizenship & Identity
- Employment & Training
- Economic Development & Regeneration
- Crime, Public Space & Policing
- Housing & Transport
- Environment, Tourism & Leisure
These documents are intended to provide an overview of policy issues relating to each theme in terms of governance structures, key policy documents, key datasets and emerging themes and questions. It is intended that these will be reviewed on an annual basis. The policy briefings should be read in conjunction with the Baseline Audit Documents and the Welsh Government’s Local Area Statistical Summary, which are available at the local authority scale.
