A substantial element of WISERD’s activities has been concerned with the development of the social science research infrastructure in Wales (and more widely). Elements of this work have included:
- improving the availability and accessibility of existing data sources
- the development of mechanisms for knowledge exchange and transfer
- capacity building initiatives
